"Speak The Word"
In the book of Matthew the 8th chapter, starting in the 8th verse we read about when Jesus was in Capernaum and there came unto Him a Centurion. The Centurion was telling Him about his servant who was sick with palsy and was grievously tormented. Jesus told Him that He would come and heal him.
The centurion told Jesus "I am not worth that shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soliders under me; and I say to this man, Go and he goeth; and to an other Come and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this and he doeth."
When Jesus heard it He marveled and said to them,"Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no not in Israel." You can also read this account in Luke 7:2-10 what a wonderful story of faith! When the Centurion said what he said to Jesus, His faith was put into action because if you read the account in Matthew 8:13 it goes like this,"And Jesus said unto the Centurion,go they wayand as thou hast believed, so it shall be done unto thee." And his servant was healed in the same hour.
I believe that if Christians today would have faith just as the Centurion did, great things would be done. All he did was tell Jesus to speak the word only, and he knew that his servant would be healed. He spoke the Word and he did not doubt in any way.
I want to encourage you today to speak the Word of God and to not doubt when you do for when you speak the word and act on it in faith you will see results like you have never seen.
