There has been alot going on against the body of Christ, these days.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea ! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. King James Version
In the past two years, in my personal walk with God, the enemy of my soul has waged such warfare against me, I almost had lost my life. Cancer, has tried to take me out of this world, as the enemy uses it to anhilate my very life. Every time it looked like I was not going to make it, the Lord always came through for me, giving me the Rhema Word, to bring me out of enemy fire. God strengthened my soul, and in Him went up a new level of faith in God.
Just recently, I watched a movie that the Lord had me watch. It was called, "Facing the Giants". This was about a High School football team, that had no confidence in themselves, and therefore, they lost all their games. A new coach was assigned for the football team, and he also happened to have low-self esteem. The principal of the High School, called in the new football coach to talk to him. This principal, was a Christian, and told the football coach, with God all things are possible, Mark 10:27. And if he, the coach, would surrender to the Lord his life, he could be used of God, to do wonderful things. The coach started to use his ability God showed him, being new in the Lord. The coach started to witness to the football team, and had them excercise their potential already that they had, and did not realize. One particular day, the football coach had them do an exercise never before that was very difficult. He had a football player get on his knees, and lift them off of the ground. Then another football player would lay on his back, with that player riding on the foot ball player's back, carring him across the entire football field to the end - zone. It was the most strenuous exercise, the football player endured.
As this example I was watching in the movie, God told me, I was on the most strenous exercise of faith. God told me to keep going, even though I felt I wanted to give up. God was encouraging me, with His Word to bring me through like this football player, to victory. The football player, almost did not make it across the field, to the end zone, but with the coach's encouragements, the football player went on to the end zone in victory. Just when we think we want to give up, or cannot go on, all we need to realize, is God will get us to our end zone, (victory).
Thou art my hiding place, thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7 KJV
There is always, the song of deliverence given to us from the Lord, in that moment of need. We are not meant to suffer as the world suffers, as we are of Christ.
Psalm 31:1 In thee O Lord, do I put my trust; let me not be ashamed; deliver me in thy righteousness.
As we journey with the Lord, challenges in the earth will always be.
Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know unto God. 7) And the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ. Phillipians 4:6,7 KJV
Every prayer unto Him must be our full trusting in Him, and then thanking Him in advance for the answer, in the perfect will of God in our lives. As the giants approach us, will we draw back ? Or will we take the Sword of the Spirit, and anhilate the enemy forces !
Surely the Lord God will do nothing but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 KJV
God surely tells us in advanvce His word for the exact situation we are going through. I have learned to keep my eyes focused on Him only.
At the end of the movie, Facing the Giants, the foot ball team played the champtionship game againt the undefeated football team, the Giants. With God's help, as they knew then how to rely on the Lord, they won the champtionship game, and defeated the Giants.
God tells me, He is raising up His army in these last days. We are to possess our rightful inheritance, in all that is rightfully ours.
Joshua 21:43-45
43) And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which He swore to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein
44) And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that He sware unto their father; and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45) There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
